Block 5 is done

Well, I finally finished block 5 last night and I actually remembered to do the backstitch steps and window panes. Haven't decided which block to do next and in fact, I may put it down for a nap while I do some smalls for Christmas.
The white areas don't show up well in the photos, but they show up well enough in person that I have not yet decided if I'll outline them. If I do, I'll use a very pale gray.

  1. That's so beautiful. I haven't seen that particular piece yet, but I started the "Houses" a few months ago. I have to go look up the "Shores" and see if I want to do that too. I shouldn't be reading other people's blogs--I already have too many things to stitch!

  2. That turned out really nice Tommye!!! I love block 5 although it is a really "solid" block compared to some... I am going to work some more on 4 and put it down for a while...I need to get some other obligations out and then I'll be ready to get back on it...remember, pace, pace, pace yourself!! Have a great weekend!!
